The association Harambee Germany provides child sponsorship for students in Kenya.
Though the school fees in kenya were abolished some years ago for the Primary Schools, however, many children still have no possibility to visit a school regularly.Their families cannot raise the necessary means for school uniform, school material or books, or the children must earn money and help in the household. Just in the current parental generation the AIDS virus has struck mercilessly, so that an alarmingly high percentage of the children are orphans already or have infected parents.
The Secondary
Schools in Kenya still require school fees which mean a big load for the pupils
and her families. Besides these, pupils also need support for the acquisition of
school uniforms etc. as well as for exams.
Harambee Germany supports students in two well-chosen projects and allows a
secure school education and with it a better future.
Our projects are in Mombasa and in Naivasha (Rift Valley).

The association Harambee Germany is founded in 2004 and is registrated at the association register in Heilbronn/Germany with the number 3139. We are a non-profit organisation and are entitled to issue donation-certificates.
